About this game

Field of Glory II Medieval is a turn-based tactical game set in the Medieval era from 1040 to 1270 AD.

It was the heyday of equestrian chivalry. European knights, armed from head to toe by the end of the 12th century, rode in close formation on heavy horses and delivered a crushing blow with spears.

The main themes of this period include the struggle of the kings of France against the kings of England and the German emperors, the English wars of conquest or attempts at conquest against the Welsh, Scots and Irish, the Baltic Crusades and the Mongol invasion of Eastern Europe. Combined with dynastic strife and revolts by powerful nobles, Europe was almost constantly at war.

Field of Glory II Medieval allows you to command the armies of the Anglo-Saxons and Normans, after conquering England, France, Germany, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, the Netherlands, the Free Cantons, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Bohemia, Poland, the Teutonic Knights, the pagan ancient Prussians and Lithuanians , Russia, Hungary, Cumans, Volga Bulgars and Mongols in an endless variety of battles and campaigns taking place in Northern and Central Europe in the 11th-13th centuries.

Lead your chosen army and its named generals to victory in standard historical battles or in custom combat situations against AI or human opponents. Choose your troops from historically accurate battle formations, allowing you to use all the options and options that will be available to the real general of this nation at any given moment during the era.

Field of Glory II Medieval features over 100 beautiful and historically accurate fully animated troop units, each with multiple variations to bring out the color and variety of the era. Watch the swords flash and arrows fly! Calculate the cost of victory or defeat when corpses are strewn across the battlefield.

Field of Glory II Medieval has a campaign system that focuses on combat and allows you to make real strategic decisions without wasting time moving armies around the strategy map. Each battle is vital to your progress. Your army will accumulate and gain experience on the way from victory to victory over enemies and their allies.

There are four historically based campaigns covering the major conflicts of the era: the Angevin Empire, the Northern Crusades, Alexander Nevsky, and the Mongol invasions. There is also a sandbox campaign system that allows you to lead any nation (and their historical allies) against any other nation (and their allies), giving you thousands of options.

Victory will require determination and tactical skill.
